great for small groups!

This product is great for the casual fondue maker! If you break out the chocolate and fruits once in a while, for a smaller group of people, this product is great for you. I loved the dual compartments and the brightly-coloured forks. The one downside is that it is powered by tealights, which can be romantic but makes for uneven heat distribution and you do have to be careful about the chocolate burning. Other than that, great little product!

good idea bad design

We purcvhased 2 of these one worked perfectly the other made it thru the night but I noticed that it did not handle the heat well as it cracked from were the heat touched it to the lip of the bowl. We were using the candles that came with the packaging. It worked really well for being able to have both dark and milk chocolate for dipping. We also used it for cheese. Clean up was just fine. I just wish they held up better. We still have one and will use it in the future. might try to keep the flame a little lower next time or not on as long.
