We made one chocolate fondue to test it. I wanted a pot with ceramic inley otherwise you (kids) could scratch the covering on pots with covering. It was easy to handle. But I was afraid, that the kids could drop the pot from the heating element, but the standing was good. It looks quite small, but 1 lb chcolate were more than enought for 5 people (3 kids, 2 adults) and the pot was just half full. The sticker on the heating element comes of very easily! It is advisable to heat the heating element one or two times (outside) so that it doesn´t smell while "fondueing" (that it smells is normal because there is a covering on the heating element to clean it easily).

The Fondue set works just fine. We fondue beef regularly, but feel it is way too small for 4-6 people. Thus, we will have to order another set.

It was really annoying having the company place a really strong and sticky warning sticker right on the burner base - it was difficult to remove to say the least! They slammed it right on the one place that could not be immersed ~ Duh! An adhesive with far less strength could easily have been used!
